When it comes to pizza in Chicago, the first thing that comes to mind is the classic Chicago deep dish. Most folks don’t know about the best spots to find thin crust pizza. That’s right, you can find some great thin crust pizza in a deep dish pizza town. Check out these great locations for some thin crust pizza next time you are in Chicago.

The sausage thin crust pizza is the most well known because Pat’s makes its own sausage in house, and really does lay the toppings on thick. Pat’s has been around for over 60 years and considering it’s well known thin crust pizza place in a deep dish pizza town, Pat’s certainly doesn’t  play by any rules.

Known for a variety of great Italian dishes, the thin crust pizza in several different kinds of toppings, Armona has something for everyone. If you are on a tight budget while in Chicago, Pizzeria Armona makes it their mission to provide “fine-dining quality at reasonable prices.”

Locals and tourists alike always find themselves grabbing a thin slice while in Albany Park.

Located at 4091 N Broadway St. Considered a Northside Tradition, Michael’s is a well-known spot for Chicago Sports fans with over 4,000 games from all the local teams televised on over 30 HD televisions in house. But what about the food? Michael’s not only will have the game, and some of the best thin crust pizza in all of the city. Even if you don’t want to catch the game, the reasonably priced pizza is a home run.

When it comes to food in Chicago, what comes to mind? Pizza and hot dogs . Both are great, but Chicago is often overlooked as a city that has one of the best burgers in the United States. To make a good burger, the burger must have lasting effects on eaters. I’ve had the pleasure of being able to try some of the best burgers in town. Here’s a list of what I think are the best burgers in Chicago.

Billy Goat Tavern

For over 80 years the Billy Goat Tavern has been a historic Burger spot in Chicago. Having a place in pop culture from cursing the Cubs and making an appearance on Saturday Night Live, the history is rich and deep. The Billy Goat Tavern though is a classic bar and burger joint that serves no-frills single, double, or even triple cheeseburgers on kaiser rolls. The environment will warp you back to a simpler time too.

Kuma’s Corner

The metal-themed bar and restaurant is known for its variety of thick, creative burgers that have been a staple of Chicago for years. Burger of the month specials are always happening, and the iconic “Ghost Burger” is topped with a communion wafer. This was the burger that started it all at Kuma’s Corner.
